At a previous San Diego management company, Dan trains Jessica Cochrane in property management. Working the same portfolio year after year, they build a bench of vendors they trust: the plumbers, painters, and technicians who actually show up.

Dan founds RRES as a licensed brokerage (DRE #02130239) to manage property the common-sense way: published pricing, real invoices in the owner portal, no markups. Jessica and many of those same vendors come along.

When RRES opened in 2020, it didn't start from scratch. Many of the vendors who service our properties came over from the same management company where Dan and Jessica worked, trades the team had already relied on for years before RRES existed.
That continuity is what makes our no-markup maintenance policy work: we know what good work costs, the vendors know we pay fairly and quickly, and owners see the actual invoice in their portal. Nobody needs a middleman fee to keep that arrangement honest.
